Before you meet someone
DISC Prediction
You cannot ask everyone you work with to take a personality test. DISC Prediction reads someone from their LinkedIn profile or their own writing and tells you their likely DISC type and how to work with them.
What it asks
Predict someone's DISC type from their LinkedIn or what you know about them.
- Their LinkedIn profile, or who they are and what you have of theirs
- Their own words where you have them: a bio, an About section, emails
- Nothing from them, and nothing shared with them
How people write is how they work
Someone who writes in short declaratives and leads with results is telling you something about how they want a meeting to go. Someone who opens with people and context is telling you something else. DISC gives that difference a vocabulary.
Crystal reads both what a person says and how they say it, which is why their own words beat facts about them. A long About section predicts better than a job title.
A prediction is a starting point, not a verdict. It is most useful in the moment before a first meeting, when the alternative is no read at all.
How Crystal asks it
Inside the product.
- Paste a LinkedIn URL, or describe the person and paste what you have. It takes a minute.
- The result is 1 of 16 DISC types with dos and don’ts, what energizes and drains them, and why it was predicted. It stays private.
- Ten predictions are free. Crystal Premium has no limit, and Crystal for Chrome shows them on LinkedIn.
