What Information do You Collect and For What Purposes?

We collect and use the information for the following purposes: (i) to contact you as our prospective or existing customer and offer you our services (categories of information: your name, surname, job title, name of a company you represent, your position, contact email address, contact telephone number, communication with you, other information you provide us with); (ii) to enter into a vendor agreement with you if you wish to do so (categories of information: your name, surname, signature, job title, name of the company you represent, your position, contact email address, contact telephone number, communication with you, agreements concluded with you, other information you provide us with); (iii) to disclose your professional information you have decided yourself to make public on professional social networks and professional websites with information necessary for analysis (categories of information: your name, surname, your public profile information, your public profile URL, job title, industry, work experience, number of recommendations received, awards, certifications, courses, languages, organizations, patents, projects, publications, volunteering experience, title of your online profile, country, groups, interests, websites, summary, other information about you that you yourself made public; (iv) to fulfil accounting and legal requirements and, if the need to do so arises, engage in legal proceedings related to you or the company you represent (categories of information: all of the afore-mentioned information, invoices, payment information, services provided, accounting and legal case files, legal documents, other information you provide us with). Please note that depending on circumstances which are impossible to define in advance, categories of information we collect may vary. You are required to provide us with the above-mentioned information that is necessary to conclude a vendor agreement with you and to fulfill accounting and legal requirements. In case you do not provide us with the aforementioned information, we will not be able to provide our services to you; (v) to enable you to create and manage your account, as well as access and use our API service via our self-service platform (categories of information: your name, surname, phone number, email address, company name, industry, credit card information (applicable for paid services only), your account credentials (username, encrypted password), usage data (such as access logs, activity history, preferences).

Why are You Allowed to Collect the Information?

We collect the information only for the purposes described in this Policy above and where at least one of the following is present: (i) you have given your consent (for example, to contact you as our prospective or existing customer and offer you our services or handle your inquiry in case you submitted one); (ii) the information is required for the performance of a contract (for example, to conclude a vendor agreement with you if you wish to do so); to enable you to create an account and use our services via self-service platform if you wish to do so; (iii) we are required to use your information by law (for example, to fulfill accounting and legal requirements applicable to us); (iv) you have decided yourself to make your professional information public (for example, to disclose such information to our clients that are interested in it); or (v) we or third parties have a legitimate interest to use your information (for example, if the need to do so arises, to engage in legal proceedings related to you or the company you represent or to disclose your professional information you have decided yourself to make public to our clients that are interested in such information).

Where do you Collect the Information From?

We collect most of the information described under the section ‘What Information do You Collect? For which Purposes?’ from yourself. We collect your professional information you have decided yourself to make public from publicly available professional social networks, start-up websites, business consulting websites, and other professional websites.

How Long Do You Keep the Information?

Your information will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, considering criteria such as applicable rules on statute of limitations, legal requirements and the duration of your use of our website and our services.

Do You Collect the Information About Minors?

We do not knowingly collect and sell the information of minors under 18 years of age. By using the website and/or our services, the user asserts they are not under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use our website and/or services and do not submit any information through our websites or services without parents’ permission. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received information of minors under 18 years of age, we will delete such information from our records.

Do you Share the Information with Third Parties?

Only where permitted by applicable laws and for the purposes listed in this Policy we share, to the extent necessary, the information with: (i) our business partners that provide IT, infrastructure, servers, marketing, customer support, accounting, legal, agency, payment processing service providers (applicable for paid services only via our self-service platform) and other services to us; (ii) our customers that are interested in your professional information you have decided yourself to make public; and (iii) notaries, bailiffs, auditors, courts, law enforcement institutions, tax, regulatory and other public authorities only in cases where we are required, by way of a statutory provision or a binding legal order, to provide the information to such authorities.

What Rights do I Have Concerning My Information?

Subject to conditions and limitations established by applicable law, you have a right (i) to receive a confirmation as to whether we collect the information related to you and to request access to that information; (ii) to correct inaccurate or incorrect information, or to supplement it when it is incomplete; (iii) to delete the information we have about you in cases where it is not compliant with applicable laws; (iv) to restrict the use of your information where you challenge the accuracy of the information, object to the use of the information or need your information for legal purposes; (v) to object to the use of the information; (vi) to opt-opt of the sale of your information; (vii) to request your information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; (viii) not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects on you; (ix) to revoke any consent given to us regarding the use of your information; (x) to file a complaint with supervisory authorities; and (xi) not to receive discriminatory treatment while exercising your rights.

What is My Right to Know about the Information Collected, Disclosed, or Sold?

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your information. Once we receive and verify your request we will disclose to you the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you, our business or commercial purposes for collecting or selling that personal information, the categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information, the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you. We have disclosed or sold the information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose. Thus, you have the right to know also the categories of personal information that we sold about you and the categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold.

What is my Right to Request Deletion of the Information?

You have a right to request the deletion of your information collected and maintained by us in case the information is not used in compliance with applicable laws. Once we receive and verify your request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your information from our records, unless applicable laws do not provide for deletion of the information in a particular case (for instance, retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you, detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities, comply with a legal obligation, make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

What is my Right to Opt-Out of the Sale of Personal Information?

You have a right to direct us to stop selling your information, and to refrain from doing so in the future. If you wish to do so, please submit your request to opt-out via channels described under the section ‘How Do I Submit a Request?’ below by way of providing us with your name, surname, email address, and the URL of your publicly available profile.
